Graham James was sentenced yesterday to 2 years in prison for sexually assaulting another 2 boys during their young hockey careers.
Add this to an already growing list of victims, including some famous, and this man has preyed 100’s of times on the most innocent.
For this the man gets two years?
If you are upset, think of how the poor victims must feel to be violated yet again?
His lawyer said he’s become the “most hated man in hockey” and has suffered enough.
And that’s our fault?
The Crown asked for James to get six years, for some reason beyond my thinking, the judge gave him two.
One, I guess for each young boy he put through hell.
They also said he’s at a high risk to reoffend.
The bigger question is, how do we stop Graham James or his type, from doing this again?
Clearly this judge doesn’t have the answer.
