This weekend my lovely wife Eileen and I retuned from a glorious week at Swept Away in Negril Jamaica..
Returning to the exact same place we got married 12 years ago was a neat experience, although this occasion being my 50 was less stressful.
That being said we must have watched 3 weddings a day happening on the beach right over our balcony.
We had debating long and hard, as you may have heard, on whether we should take the kids.
In the end not taking them allowed us to stay at a couple’s only resort.
Guilt then, feelings now?
Every couple should do this!
We would all do anything for our kids, and do, every day.
But reconnecting with the person you made them with is the key to success in every family.
My wife was simply excited she didn’t have to prepare lunches every night, for the family the next day.
And in case you do feel guilty for any special occasion that doesn’t include your kids….
You are quickly blasted back into reality the second you return home and open the front door!…
