Jr. Walks!!!

I know there are a few of you out there who hate it when I talk about my kids….Those of you who think that way should not read this blog. This blog represents what a parent feels when they see their baby take their first few steps.

The Kurt man has been toying with walking for a while now cruising from one surface to another…Starting with a coffee table, he will then scout out the next closest object, perhaps a chair and then reach for that. Before you know it he has circled the room. This activity now seems to be more popular than opening and closing doors or drawers and throwing the contents around. Thankfully.

The walk started with 3 or 4 quick steps followed by a face plant into the carpet. Now he is up to about ten steps before he tries something daring like turning. Corners still seem to be a problem for the little guy.

The only issue now is he doesn’t want to be carried any more….He will almost leap out of your arms to get back to the floor where he is more mobile.

Time to tip the crib over and cage him in!
