Gas prices, and the pools that are forming trying to predict where they will settle, is what everyone has been talking about in the last 24 hours.
So much so it has left the budgets, the final four, and fading penny in last week.
This week, it’s rising gas prices.
How did this happen? Who can we blame? How do we fix it now? Don’t we have oil?
Plain and simply it’s still cheaper to buy gas off shore then to refine ours here.
Problem is we’re subject to world markets and their issues including conflict.
Who do we blame?
Ourselves, for not becoming involved and demanding change in policy.
If we exploit our natural resources we should at least be using funds generated to further research renewable energy industries that can sustain future generations without bankrupting us..
It’s easy to say it takes real leadership. What it really takes is a vote for that leader, when we do find them.
I’m Scott Thompson.
