I’m not sure if I’m sounding like my Dad here or if we are really going to hell in a hand basket?
We’re all aware of the Trayvon Martin case in Florida where an unarmed black youth was killed by an over zealous neighborhood watch dog while returning to his Dad’s girlfriend’s condo.
Now we learn of an on-line sale of shooting targets depicting a likeness to young Trayvon.
The paper silhouettes show an outline of a hooded man holding Skittles and a can of ice tea.
The same items Trayvon was holding when he was killed.
The sale has been stopped after wide spread outcry from everyone including both attorneys and the boy’s mother.
The entrepreneur said he was just trying to make money off the issue…
How about just trying to help your fellow man?
It may not pay off at first but in the end it’s a little more ethical than profiting from a dead teen.
That has to be good business,,,,,
